Pineapple Express - so nice you have to see it twice

Peeps,

Here is my review of Pineapple Express starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. One thing is for certain, you will either thinks it's fantastical or you'll hate it.

Lazy court-process clerk and stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): to purchase weed. Saul introduces Dale to a new comer to the weed market called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city's most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him--and it is. All aboard the Pineapple Express.

Trust me when I say that outrageous and hilarious shenanigans ensue at break neck speed. Rogen and Franco steal every scene, but not to take anything way from Danny McBride who portrays Red (Saul's supplier) who is genius in his own right in the movie. The dialogue in Pineapple Express is the sharpest of all the Apatow movies to date. Everytime you watch the movie (and you will watch it more than once), you pick up on something new you missed before (one liners heaven).

You don't have to be a stoner to like this movie, you just need a quick and open mind. Superbad is still tops in my book in the Apatow series but Pineapple Express comes in a close second. I give this movie 4 awesome stars. *reviewed on a 1 - 4 star scale*

Cheers,

2009 Top 10 New Years Resolutions

Hi everyone! I've procrastinated slightly in writing down this years resolutions, but like they say it's better late than never. So without further delay here are my top 10 New Years Resolutions (in no particular order).

1. Lose 15 lbs. by April and maintain that weight (give or take 5lbs.) throughout the year.
2. Have more patience with people.
3. Tolerate GDOT 11 more short months to get vested (10 years woohoo).
4. Look for another Network Engineering position in the private sector after getting vested!
5. Slow down and enjoy the little things everyday.
6. Be a better son, and brother.
7. Be a better boyfriend.
8. Be a better friend to those who I already consider family (you know who you are).
9. Work on my golf game.
10. Take a trip somewhere I've never been.

I know, I know the list is nothing spectacular but for once I thought I'd set realistic resolutions. With the exception of my golf game I'm confident I can accomplish 90% of the list. In addition to my resolutions I'm also leaving my peeps with 3 music videos. These songs put me in a good mood, I hope they do the same for yoos!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!

2. Weezer - Island in the Sun
